Good to know

Questions, answered.

The things people ask us most. Can’t find yours? Send us a quick enquiry and we’ll get back to you.

Appointments

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. We welcome new private patients of all ages. Call us or send an enquiry and we will find a time that suits you.

Do you offer NHS treatment?

No. We are a private practice and do not offer NHS treatment. If you would prefer NHS care, nhs.uk lists NHS practices near you.

What should I bring to my first visit?

A list of any medicines you take, details of past dental treatment if you have them, and any questions you would like to ask.

Do you run on time?

We plan our days so appointments are not rushed. Now and then an emergency means a short wait, and we will always tell you.

Fees & payment

How much will my treatment cost?

Our fees page shows a range for common treatments. Your exact cost depends on your assessment and is confirmed in a written plan before any treatment starts.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. Our care plan spreads the cost of routine visits into a monthly payment, and for larger treatment we can tell you about finance, which is subject to status.

Do you see children?

Yes, privately. NHS dental care is free for children under 18 at NHS practices, so you may prefer one of those, and we are happy to point you to nhs.uk.

Cosmetic treatment

Can I see what my teeth might look like first?

For bonding and veneers we can usually make a mock-up or trial smile, so you can see the shape before anything is permanent. Every mouth is different, so results vary.

Bonding or veneers?

Bonding changes less of your natural tooth and can often be done in one visit; veneers last longer but are not reversible. We will explain both at your consultation.

Emergencies

Do you see emergencies the same day?

We hold same-day slots for urgent problems. Call us as early in the day as you can. Out of hours, call NHS 111 for urgent dental advice.

When should I go to A&E?

Call 999 or go to A&E if you have swelling that affects your breathing, swallowing or vision, bleeding that will not stop, or a serious injury to your face or mouth.

Getting here

Is there parking?

Pay-and-display bays on the surrounding streets. Clifton Village gets busy on Saturdays, so allow a few extra minutes.

Are you accessible?

Yes. Step-free entrance, Ground-floor treatment room, Hearing loop at reception.
